Q: How to request MacOS MS Word to always paste in Plain Text?

Control Command V - Will bring up the dialog box, then use the up arrow and hit enter. (Yuck)

Trying typinator:

• Add new replacement rule
• Abbreviation “pt”
• {clip}

Then in the document, when wanting to paste, type “pt” and it will paste the clipboard contents as TEXT only.

Next option:

Paste and Match Formatting is the next best option in the menubar, but it has the worst key combination and requires two hands to paste. Its a command decided by a MS Committee. It also keeps some formatting.
